Exactly, just a difference of opinion.
I suspect it can be a little challenging on here if you do not follow the well trodden paths. I think it must be clear to folks by now that Aaron follows his own path and I for one believe the forum to be much richer for it. I believe it is fair to say that many of us are focusing on different horses to the ones he makes cases for. We can all judge for ourselves whether that tends to make life a little harder for him at times.

Does he defend his horses with perhaps more conviction than they deserve or warrant. Probably yes. But he is not alone in being very defensive of his horses. Many on here are similarly dogmatic. The difference often is that his horses are less popular, less, how should I put it….mainstream and my sense is this makes him double down even more and at times things then can get a little edgy. I am not defending that approach, merely trying to understand it.

Anybody that is a regular on here would recognise the pattern by now I’d like to think. We’ve all seen it often enough now. Perhaps we could all help stop the pattern. One thing I know is Einstein probably got it right when he talked about the definition of insanity being continuing to do things the same way and somehow expecting a different outcome. I hope Aaron continues to bring these alternative cases to our attention but it wouldn’t surprise me if he found it a little difficult at some point and stopped bothering. I for one would be disappointed if that happened.

Anyhow that’s just my two penneth worth. Likely someone will tell me to chill out now so I think I’ll take that advice in anticipation

Actually you offered no evidence to back up your popular opinion so told you to carry on as there was little point continuing trying to debate if your not offering any input.

Personal ambition looked like he lost his last race due to a potentially tired error at the last, they tried to win today at 2miles again, he wasn't looking to be well handicapped imo. He was well outpaced.

Caldwell potter has been tried over further and failed
your opinion is he needs further?

And the mare is obvious. shes a shit chaser.

I'll just go dry my pants

One for the shortlist for handicap chase in between?

                              Sir Gino…….fairly big gap.

BANC I’m really not sure at this stage. I’ve loved both of The Jukebox Man’s performances thus far and think he’ll have no problem in the race. Better Days Ahead has ran well and just touched off in the Xmas Grade 1, Croke Park keeps surprising many I feel (he wasn’t one I had top of this division). Dancing City good on debut and feels like loads more to come from him, Impaire been really good and imo would have no problem with 3m on the old course. Then there’s Ballyburn who goes up in trip next time and could be amazing at the trip, if his jumping is a little slow at times.

At the minute I think the BANC is the most open chase we’ve had for some time.

                                BDA, DCity, Olympic Man

If Jango turned up in either race I would probably change that race though.
