GP would give them all a nice lead in the Arkle if he went for it. There would be no issues with the pace of the race for the likes of Sir G, Maj and Atlantique. Could make it quite a test should the ground come up Heavy again.

Where does he send Gidleigh Park now? Arkle? I would wait for a high Graded 2 and a half mile chase. He isn't a 2 miler. All Novice/Beginners hurdlers/chasers start over 2m and usually win first up. He shit out of the Turners last year because of Ballyburn and sent him up to the Bartlett. He should wait until a good opportunity comes along and i hope he does. He would be interesting over that trip. Shoe horning him into the Arkle would be the second wasted year.
