With a 150 RPR first up and a 149 handicap mark then surely handicaps are not in the equation? Was impressive on chase debut and form been franked with the runner up winning a handicap off 1lb lower since. Hopefully they are thinking BANC though personally I would want to see him get a couple or runs under his belt before Cheltenham.
If you are wondering about handicappers then Resplendent Grey has to be considered. A bit like Transmission, he looks ideally suited to the Kim Muir but may well stick to novice company and the NH Chase. Form reads very well linking Handstands, Hyland and Springwell Bay to suggest he is well handicapped off 143.
More just a comment really as only had the one run. I'm not sure he'll be Cheltenham grade for the BANC and too high to be of interest in a handicap.
I've got Resplendent Gray down for the Ultima (put him in the competition for the Ultima). Hoping he runs with promise tomorrow without winning. Not sure I'd want him over the 3m6 and not sure which amateur they'd get for the Kim Muir.

…..I like RG too for NHC, a best price 14-1 ante-post surprised he’s not quoted with Hills NRNB.
Because it doesn't suit what you think?
Because he looks a little funny, when he runs?
a bit like Usain bolt i like to think of him.
Anyway another payday from Gidleigh park....
Strange response
The first two both look like they should be running over further. The third is being handicapped to win over further. The fourth has lost her way over fences.
Therefore, it looked like a 2m chase for horses that shouldn't be running over 2m

Sorry but how do the first two look like they should be running over further.
didn't they try that with Caldwell potter already?
as i said it doesnt suit your opinion, so now you try and call my response strange.
no worries carry on as you were
Much as I agree Gidleigh should be going over further, they'll find it hard as he runs with the choke out & has no idea how to relax,I'm not even sure he breathes during his races, he was pulling just going to post, it's probably far too late in the season to try to teach him to relax in his races now so they'll see the season out over 2m, maybe next season get someone on him at home who is strong enough to anchor him behind a few, get him to drop the bit, it'll make him a better jumper too imo.
Edit - Reading that back it sounds like I'm not taking a breath either.

Relax. It’s Friday. Enjoy your weekend. I’ll carry on as requested.
