    • Ile Atlantique becomes interesting for the New Novices' Chase if he gets pitched into a graded race next time and is beaten up to around 10 lengths. Currently has an RPR of 143. 140 with a bit of British tax makes him of interest.

Strange how he's saying it about Impaire Et Passe when Ballyburn is the one that's now got it all to prove having just been walloped by Sir Gino, and he could hold him back instead.

        • I’d need to see how he’s worded what’s been said & in what context before getting hasty with the cashout anyway.

Willie Mullins speaks to Gary O'Brien about a number of his horses who have run over the Festive period, including Galopin Des Champs who saw off stable comp...

            • So il atlantique and IEP go to fairyhouse, Willie. Wake up and smell the coffee. They might be the 2 novice chasers that have the best festival chances

              • It's like he's having a strop about the loss of the 2m4f grade 1

                • He’s been having that strop ever since it’s been announced.

                  • Anyone who thinks that any trainer has fully formed opinions within an hour of any race needs a reality check. Rather like football managers after a big match, they should be given clear space to have a proper debrief and not pander to the media.

                    • If IEP wins the Flogas hard held from Ile Atlantique, Dancing City, and Croke Park, is Willie really going to swerve the BANC? Not for my money.

I'd like to see Impaire vs majborough in the Irish arkle and ballyburn vs dancing city in the flogas

Road to Cheltenham has an RP quote from Willie on twitter:

"He is bred to be a three-miler but people were counting him as a Champion Hurdle horse before we made the decision to go over fences. Now it just looks like he wants a trip."

                            • PP have suspended cash out on Impaire BANC, has anyone got him backed with them for the Arkle?

Assuming they’ll have done it on any Cheltenham race after WPM’s comments.

Im with others in that, if he wins at the DRF or even runs a cracker, he isn’t going to miss Cheltenham. He was his highest rated hurdler going chasing.

Yeah not shocked with the comments from Willie, they were always going to do so, easy potential cash for them isn't it

Might be able to re add him to the market, although cashout be suspended in the next couple weeks regardless
