  • Impaire Et Passe is such a lovely traveller.

Daryl kept taking him back and he wasn't overly keen.

    Loved that!

I'd be pretty sure he'll go for the 2 mile race at Dublin after that.

I covered him with the WTAF for the Arkle, but I'm still not wholly convinced.

I think It's For Me was the double greens Arkle horse, horse before his demise and I'm not sure they'd be in a rush to send IEP there after watching Sir Gino!

They shouldn't be worried about one horse just yet.
Even if he ran over 2 at Dublin they could still leave both races open.
He's classy enough to have a stab at both IMO, probably not No1 or No2 for either race but if either cuts up then he'd be a player and you couldn't rule him out either way.
2 pretty faultless efforts over fences.
Looks a very easy ride also.

            • I think he is their best chance of beating someone like Gino, he could travel at a strong pace and enjoy the stiff finish

              • Yeah i reckon Ballyburn and IEP have flip flopped now in terms of festival targets.

Watching that I don’t think it’s a decision to be made yet, and no need to.
Hes one that would probably have run in the in between race. Could go either way.
Hes not one I’ve backed, but will watch developments and entries.
Would be more interested if he went BANC, I think!!

It's true. He could go for either, I have no issue where he ends up although I'm heavily weighted towards the BANC, currently.

Still a nice price for the Arkle, so might have a bit of that for some cover also!

                      • Be interesting to see if Readin' Tommy Wrong gets back and has a couple of runs. That could firm up the plans.

Yep. He jumps and travels like a 2 miler. Lots of pace. Quickened up nicely there.

Think he outclassed them in the end. Looks to be better the further he goes so if going Cheltenham then surely the BANC would be the logical choice. Certainly didn't show the speed through the race to instantly think he needs a drop in trip, though does jump well. 10/1 is fair for a grade 1 winner for the BANC anyway, IF he was to turn up.

Get him in the Ryanair over the mid trip.
