Those old enough might remember what Sprinter Sacre did against Peddlers Cross in the Wayward a few years ago. Kempton should suit Sir Gino far better than Ballyburn and I can see a similar result, where SG just has too much speed and puts Ballyburns jumping under pressure from flag fall.
What price will Sir Gino be for the Arkle if he wins impressively today? 6/4?
Let's hope they both run their races and get round safely.
I'm probably old enough , but in truth , i don't remember !!.... F.M. . ... But i am really Looking forward to this race today ..
Also , Nicky Henderson said Yesterday , What Sir Gino does today , will Frank the Constitution Hill form from yesterday .. or so he Hope's . .
Agree with the above
I have Ballyburn as a horse that performs best over soft to heavy, and will stay, likely best seen over middle distance
Good, Good to Soft ground (ground that saw Banbridge win yesterday) on a sharp track doesnt really fill me with confidence that Ballyburn will be best seen here. He also have to give Sir Gino a age allowance. Conditions do not favour Ballyburn today. I'd be a little surprised if he is able to beat SG if SG jumps and travels well
Yup, we havent seen SG jump a fence which has to be factored in but expecting SG to win today and be short fav for Arkle

I bet Nicky is almost as nervous about today as he was yesterday.
It's great to have these big clashes outside of the spring festivals - maybe they should cull a few more races and it'll happen more regularly.
If Ballyburn keeps drifting I might be forced to have a saver on him.
Biolumineescence is one I'm interested in today,Shecouldbeanything has stacks of experience on her side so if the Cromwell horse can win this she could make up into a Mares chase type.
Any chance Better Days Ahead goes NHC ?? Would he be too high ? Sounded like Gordon thought he needed a real trip. Maybe he'll be kept back for the Irish National instead??
