    • Gino to beat BB due to weight allowance to send him to the BANC, all part of the master plan (for my portfolio)

I didn't realise that Sir Gino would get 6lb, so with permission I'm gonna do a complete U-Turn on the above statement and I'd probably back SG if they both turn up now...

So the 6lb makes the difference between being scared or not?
Or have you realised your tree is not made of chocolate??

Can confirm I did a taste test on said tree last night and it was not chocolate

Initial statement was based more on Nicky's tendency to wrap horses in cotton wool, which no-one can deny but was a lazy generalisation of what may occur - and by the way may still occur here.
The conditions of the race dictate who I would back if they actually met

            • I wonder what nicky would do with sir gino if ballyburn beat him decisively whilst giving him that 6lbs.

Probably switch back to hurdles and keep his novice chasing status intact for next season. Meanwhile if Ballyburn loses they know to step him up. So I'm hopeful the match up happens because defeat shouldn't be the end of the world for Henderson or Mullins.

To face up against Hendersons best horses ?

                              • Ballyburn does have a Christmas option at Limerick but speaking at Thurles after Blue Velvet won the bumper, Mullins pointed towards a trip to England.
He said: “Ballyburn is in both Kempton and Limerick but it looks like Kempton for him.

“Hopefully there’ll be nice ground there, it suits time-wise and we might have three horses – Impaire Et Passe, Mirazur West and Sa Majeste – for the Limerick race.”

Mullins added on some of his other stars: “Fact To File and Galopin Des Champs are both well and fine, and both worked this morning. Both are on course to run in the Savills, while State Man is in good order and runs in the Matheson.”

Let's hope Hendo doesn't bottle it
