I'd say there's next to no chance we'll see him line up in an Arkle in March. Personally don't think we'll see him at the Fez at all this season. He's one for later.

        • Good from Majborough.

Was reminiscent of Fakir D'Oudairies beating Melon on debut when getting the allowance.

Be interesting to see how it all pans out as the season progresses.

I suspect for Tullyhill, 2m is too short.

I think he’s either going to be very good(if he takes to fences), or bloody awful (if he don’t!!)
            We shall see .
            We he didn’t do either!!
But he’s not an Arkle runner imo
            Winner was very good
            Cashed out Arkle bet

            • ….looking like the best on offer for Majborough Arkle is 7-1, BANC 10-1 after that win.

              • That was mighty impressive, especially the turbo after the last, he buried them other two whilst being fairly keen the whole way round... He's an Arkle horse for sure, and I think he's the winner.

                  Electric there in the main

Very happy with that, looks like he'll be better going LH too.

                  Arkle truly hotting up now

….only Fred & Boyles hanging on to a bit of 7-1 Ark, whilst Lads offer best 10-1 BANC.

                      • Still can't bring myself to back a 5 year old in a novice chase with their abysmal record in them without the age allowance

I know it's hard to believe but sometimes us racing experts do get it wrong

Might have two with a big chance this time!!
He certainly jumps well enough for an Arkle

                            • Does that push Ballyburn further down the BANC route ??

                              • I'd personally ignore the 5 year old stat this season as if Sir Gino also goes chasing then I'd say both will be very difficult to beat.
Majborough, in particular has so much scope for improvement it's untrue.
That was his fourth race ever.
He won a triumph and basically dossed around and ran a bit green.
The allowance means fuck all for this horse because even a blind man can see how much potential improvement he has in him.

If it wasn't for Willie's recent habit of sticking all of his against each other in the Irish arkle then we'd be looking at a cracker come March, but the likelihood is that something will rise to the top in Dublin, and thin them out somewhat.
