If this season is anything like last season a lot of Willie's will improve leaps and bounds for the run.
And since they had to wait so long for rain that will likely happen
Remember Ballyburn, Galopin and fact to file all got beat then won easily at the festival
So just winning from Shannon royale wouldn't concern me. First run your just looking at the jumping for a novice chaser.
He will likely improve 10lbs+ for the run

I’m on dancing city at 33/1 for the banc and feel rather deflated after watching that in all honesty. He’s just not going to get up that hill at Cheltenham is he. Didn’t get up it last year, had Shannon royal closing today and high class hero closing on his final race last season on a less stiff track. Banc will be a bigger field than last few years so can almost guarantee it’ll be run at a decent clip. It’s going to be a gruelling 3 miles 1/2 furlong and it’s going to take an out and out stayer to win this. Dancing city just doesn’t fit the bill. You can say it’s his 1st run of the season blah blah blah but I’m telling you he’s got little to no chance of winning at the festival. The fact he was cut for the race after is criminal. Give him 3 miles again over a flat track like aintree and I’d be all over him

He's beaten a good field, who were all race fit aswell
He looked in control at every point of the race and will come on loads like willies will do.
His RPR progression last year was 108 to 128 to 151

Dancing city has won the same number of grade 1s as both ballyburn and Impaire et passe. All have won 3.
