      • It was interesting to hear Ruby's take on Impaire Et Passe, he was saying he could see him stepping up in trip. Since he's the only Mullins horse in the 3mile race at Leopardstown that has already won his beginners, it seems likely that could be where he ends up for Christmas. PP do allow the ante post double Leopardstown & Browns.

I think 7/4 is a great price, if you work your way down the entries, and expect him to turn up in the race.

Nothing is in the same parish as him with regards to ratings.

I'm expecting Better Days Ahead to go to Limerick. Gordon sends his best BANC chance there, generally, and I think it will be him that goes. Slade Steel surely won't go, having not won a beginners chase yet, neither will Dancing City.

Croke Park represents as his main danger, but he only hit an RPR of 140 having just won a G1, that's incredibly low for winning a graded race of that nature. I Am Maximus hit 162, Mighty Potter 164 and even Beacon Edge hit 155 3 years back.

Impaire Et Passe managed an RPR of 147 in a beginners chase, that tells you the level of that Drinmore.

I'm expecting Impaire Et Passe to go off at least 1/2, maybe plenty shorter.

          • Handstands another really good staying Novice Chasing performance from the Ben Pauling team today. Jumped really well and stayed on strongly up the Sandown Hill. One of the better Novice Chase races we've seen so far this season . Think we'll be seeing a few winners come out of the race. Love the faith BP had in the winner after his fall on debut. He said he'd win and he did. Don't know whether he'll be up to BANC class and he may end up too high for Handicaps but I'm sure there is another big race in him though.

            • BP on Handstands....

“This lad looked like he stayed very well there, while The Jukebox Man looked like he had electric speed the other day so we might not need to go as far with him.
“We’re not Willie Mullins, they’re not going to run against each other in a hurry so there’ll be a bit of working out with each of them.

“We had some lovely novice hurdlers last year and it’s nice to see them go on as we need them to.

“Cheltenham is not the be-all and end-all for him (Handstands). For him to go he’d have to be the standout in everyone’s minds. We could possibly look somewhere else, but if he continues in nice form it’s a nice problem to have.

“We’ll see how he comes out of today and decide where to go next. I think we stay at around this sort of trip, although I don’t think he has to go over three miles – he still has enough speed for two and a half.”

TJM...... Electric speed ! Perhaps he's more an Arkle type?? Ummmmmm

Going by what pauling said both

jukebox ain't fast enough for 2 miles and Ben thinks he's too exuberant for 3 miles.

Plenty of forward/pacey horses have won the BANC
Old course will suit him well

I really like Jukebox, and will be chipping away at him

Ruby on Road To Cheltenham suggested him dropping down in trip due to how well he jumped.

                          • I reckon Ill Atlantique will finally bring his home work to the track this afternoon and put himself firmly in the Festival picture. Willie has always said chasing would be his game.

                            • Ile atlantique is a yak. Unless they've given him a lobotomy wouldn't back him with monopoly money.

He will probably win today by miles like he did last year and the year before then not be sighted in the grade races all season.

He will probably end up as a plunge horse in the 2m4f novice handicap chase but will finish out the back with the washing.
