This move by Hendo/Donnelly's makes me think Ballyburn isn't going down the Arkle route.
Henderson is good friends with Ronnie Bartlett and according to Hendo he told him that Ballyburn would be going down the Gallghers route, which they stuck to. I wonder if something has been said.
Also, you'd imagine the Donnelly's have a fair line into the Mullins yard as well, that they've now decided to go down the Arkle route with Sir Gino.
It's got me perplexed (not hard, I know), that they'd send a potential star over fences, chasing at the age of 5, not usually something Nicky does, unless they know something we don't.
Very speculative COD love the effort mate it could be that or as someone else says, the Donnellys have State Man who’s Irish and then Hendo has Constitution Hill so the likelihood of him winning much, especially at the top level is null! Would be a wasted season imo so chasing makes complete sense.
Just noticed that Champ Kiely has appeared on the Arkle betting at 16/1. Coming back from an absence and I would have thought a longer trip would suit best ….. anyone heard anything ?

Danny was interviewed for 10 to follow for the season and put him up as a forgotten horse - mentioned the Arkle, which was a surprise…
No, don't expect. Clearly a reason for that. Maybe this season both him and Majborough will blow that stat up.
Was surprised to hear the way Tony Mullins was going on about Majborough in that preview he did. He wasn’t very hot on him and said the yard wouldn’t be glowing about him much at all (to that effect)

The last 5yo Arkle winner was Voy Por Ustedes in 2006 when 5yos got a 5lb allowance. This was discontinued in 2008 and is the main reason for the 5yo stat.

In his defence, the last couple of PP previews he did he’s been spot on with the talking horses. Impaire 2 years ago and Fact To File last year, along with other snippets.
