Obviously race fitness for Shannon Royale would have counted for a bit, but even so, that performance wouldn't have me making Dancing City any shorter than The Jukebox Man, Impaire Et Passe or Better Days Ahead.
Not sure DC should be cut much after watching that.
He did prove he can jump though, but he’s no better at this stage than others I’ve seen imo.

It's no different to many first runs of the season.
If you've back him already, then you'd be happy enough with the jumping and the likelihood that he'll come on for the run.
If you've not backed him - you're unlikely to be rushing to take the 7/1 (or 10's if you're lucky)

Jumped really well so could argue that he should of won more easily. However, he does look a big old unit so should come on nicely for that. Worth considering he needed his first run last year and improved significantly as the season went on.

He's be a very interesting NH Chase horse I think, can't see any markets but if bookies are sleeping on the winner and put a price about OM up I'd be looking to get him onside....

Yes, could go for NHC, and will keep an eye on developments.
He was travelling really well and I thought he was the best jumper until that happened.
Just think after watching that the price difference with the winner is far too much.

….Dancing City;
“That was nice, he jumped brilliant in the main and then took in the scenery down the straight!” said Townend.
“I gave him a slap going to the last to make him concentrate and he jumped it well. Then we heard another one coming he pulled out plenty again.
“It’s as good a start as you could hope for. He’s very good, he has been good since he started and we were hoping for that.
“I was happy enough to take a lead, but I didn’t break stride and let him roll along.
“I think he’ll come on for the run, all of ours are, especially over that trip (three miles), he took his blow, had a look and went on again so very happy.”

Was hoping It’s For Me would also get an entry there but he hasn’t…….
Asian Master, Tullyhill and Fun Fun Fun also entered.
Or is it the trial for Double Green's best at Willies? In which case Mistergif might be worth a pound or two at 100/1. I'll be paying close attention to whoever is declared anyway.

As R4H said it’s been hard with the ground issues so nothing hasty yet, but it might be worth looking at Majborough should he be declared as I’m sure Navan and Fairyhouse are his fav places to start his Arkle horses.
