  • Wasn't overly impressed with anything there to be honest.

Down Memory Lane way too slow at jumping. Expected L'eau Du Sud to go well clear, didn't pull away how I'd have hoped.

Won't be backing any of them for the Arkle.

Was a decent little race though so couldn't discount

        Bit harsh given conditions imo
I would give both the first two a thumbs up today.

        • Decent enough race but I'd be disappointed if Willie doesn't have 3 better than those 3. DML far too slow in the air and I'm not sure he wants an overly quick pace. Done well to stick at it and gain ground so you'd expect him going up in trip. Touch Me Not aimed at a handicap possibly?

          • Jumping errors aplenty, no Arkle winner there for me.

              • I wouldnt write him off at all
jumped better around cheltenham, which is what I wanna see. Sandown is a tough course, especially in softer conditions
fighter... 6/1 is a little bit short for me to get into at this stage, but those on double figures should be happy with where they are. Load of average horses in that arkle atm

Touch me not jumped really well last time, and apart from one today, jumped well again.
Dont think there’s an awful lot between the first two at this stage.
Ive not seen better this season, but was impressed with In the Pocket, so look forward to seeing him again.
Best three I’ve seen so far anyway.

Lets hope so. Tongue Tie on today, I wouldn't mind seeing headgear at some point also. Good sighter over 2 1/2m though on softening ground it may be a concern as saw him as a free going two miler. Having always looked a bit dodgy when anything comes up beside then it will probably be when he is upped in class when we see if he has improved.

                    • Think they all struggled jumping out of that ground, the winner did quicken after the last but was a short lived effort, better to come on better going for sure.

Yeah exactly, and better ground will probably see an improvement fun DML I would think.
Definitely would not rule any of them out re Arkle.

                        • Thought DML was flattered last time and proven there . He could drop into a handicap as well maybe?

A worry for Bon Jovi Carnage?
