  • …as long as the source is mentioned then I don’t see any issue with ‘information’ being posted. We know our trusted posters on here but if something is posted on Twitter I think it’s fine passing it onto here. As long as source is mentioned we can make our own minds up as to its validity.

And even if you feel everything is posted/passed on in good faith, which is more believable. And it would be nice to think this is the case.

It can still lack context, detail and have bias attached from somewhere along the whisper line - and therefore can sometimes be misleading.

So the second point is why any information passed on should always be questioned further IMO.
Most would happily provide as much details as they feel comfortable or able, and if not, explain why.
Yeah I corrected myself on 2nd read as said above

I don't disagree that any info that is passed on shouldn't be questioned, I'd always try and eek out a little bit more information which helps with my decision making and though process.

My original post was aimed at the

      'schooling rumours were nonsense'

      'What a load of bollocks'

      them stupid comments

Just found that thumbs up smiley, i like it!

Yeah I was half way through responding but had to hang the washing up

I agree, the two things can be true.

He could have schooled badly at some point and then jumped well on the course.

I know that might be Amazing for some, but both things can still be true.

I thought he jumped really well as it happens and his style of jumping could easily adapt for 2 miles or 3. But Willie appears at this stage to be set on the shorter trip IMO.

He certainly didn't over jump and expend too much energy, so the world is his oyster.

        • Yep, I stand corrected on that point too. They clearly can school badly then jump great when actually in a proper race. No more 'bollocks' from me especially as plenty think I speak it myself anyway

          • Farren Glory winning shortly, and 'nicely' would make me top up on Inthepocket pretty quickly....

Or Nurburgring would make me top up on Down Memory Lane

Something in Yellow and Green is getting backed in the next 20 minutes though

Guessing you mean Down Memory Lane?

              • Judging by how often he's running farren glory is likely Gordon's grand annual horse

I just don’t see him as a 2 miler come the business end of the season.

                      • Farren not more likely to be one for this turners hcap ?

3rd run already and only end of November - he's aiming for some hcap anyway

                        • I have come to the conclusion that Nicky Henderson has finally lost the plot. Of his horses i have backed ante post, on his stable tour all i heard was "Oh yaaa, now he is going to be top class"

Everyone of them has bombed out. Just waiting for Iberico Lord to complete the set.

I’d say that will be more his trip.

                            • Shanagh Bob too cautious or Nico not putting him into the fence properly. A number of times he took another stride close to the fence, slowed into it and then popped over losing lengths. Needs 5 miles as well probably.
