I’d say he’d be better with a lead too. He has a high cruising speed but got some stamina too. Early days as he’s got to stay fit, but he’s put down a marker there.
Interesting to see if he ends up meeting Inthepocket
Ha. I read it more as “he’s a weapon and the cats out the bag now”.
I mean that could also be true but is he really stuffed in terms of getting 145 now if he runs poorly in two Graded races?
I think it's borderline but I can't have that all of King, Nurburgring and Birdie Or Bust have all run to their peak Hurdles mark on chase debuts there...

Is that confirmed now? I've heard both "limited handicap" for the 2.5 miler and "0-145" from different people?
If it is limited handicap, even more reason for DML to go the 2.5 mile route I'd argue as he'll get a better mark than inthepocket or iberico lord for the McManus team
Well done JackieMoon33 You've been adamant this is a proper horse from day 1, and I'd say with that evidence, he's definitely one to have onside.
Wouldn't want the deep winter ground as we seen last season, but probably every chance Leopards at Xmas will be fine this year.
yes well done you flagged up months ago as one that may have been forgotten. After today he must come into the Arkle picture. Especially as he drifted in the betting and presumably connections felt he needed the run!
JP and Gordon could get both their respective Arkle runners with decent jockeys on board. JP’s could still try and be handicapped but I think they’re both good enough to go the graded route.
