He's been beat twice at Chepstow, which may be because it was his first runs of the seasons but it could be the configurations of the track. All his wins have been on flat tracks. He's a nice horse for Fergal and if the top Irish horses didn't turn up in the grade 1 at Aintree, he'd have a good chance of winning that.
I think both defeats at Chepstow can be excused, the bumper was his first ever appearance and he was green as grass, his hurdle debut he was absolutely fine travelled beautifully in to the race, travelling all over jurancon who jumped across him at the last hurdle.

He has also won at market Rasen which is described as somewhat undulating, not a track I've frequented but looking at the map I'd agree with this description.

I do agree with you about Aintree though and it would no doubt be an easier task.

    • Market Rasen is fairly flat overall but it does have a sort of dip at the far end, probably what an undulating comment would be referring to.

        • Not sure if Jasmin has been discussed for the ABartlett

can’t help but think he will be coming with a late flourish and we know he gets up the hill

I think you are right and he’s a fair chance in an open looking race .

                          • He's back into 7 on the exchange, still not much on the lay side. Not much of an exchange watcher myself, is that in any way significant?

Edit: nevermind, he's going back out again.

                            • Seems to be significantly moved on oddschecker for first 3 in market. Certainly not a positive, but we are into silly season now

Last price matched for Turners is 55 on him.
