This was a nice surprise able to get out without loss, considering probably won't even turn up to the festival now.

Usually them bets get greyed out and that's that.

William Munny bet has been greyed out even since the supposed setback he had.

    • Nicholls not moved on sadly

Remember him couple years back being asked about Irish dominance & he just said it’s cyclical

None of the - well it’s up to us to up our game stuff

Skelton & others on the other hand just hungrier & have obviously been upping their game more

Hope Paul sorts things out, but needs complete rethink on recruitment for a start

It's down to his training I think personally, along with poor recruitment.

He just doesn't improve anything that's sent to him. Caldwell Potter and stormy ireland are two that spring to mind but there has been loads. Even sauvignon, he beat Sony bill in france in his last run, who has gone to mullins and run two good races. Sauvignon himself pulls up on debut for nicholls.

He used to be able to ….,just think others are constantly improving ….and he has been left behind with same old ways

His lack of ambition last few years been obvious with attitude to Cheltenham..,,,maybe lost hunger

whatever - won’t be rushing to back many of his in march

Unfortunately you take a risk every time you back one if his for the Festival as he prefers to dodge it got for Aintree. Another recent disappointment is Teeshan. Supposed to be the 2nd coming after his PtoP in Ireland then nothing!!!!

            • Only just catching up with todays racing proper

Maybe Paul Nicholls should have aimed even lower with Regents Stroll

God how Tom Malone is still in a job, surely Paul is thinking what we're all thinking

has anything been said about what the story with Teeshan is? I remember Paul saying he had a small issue back in Oct and had to miss Chepstow but havent seen anything since.

                • Have we ever had a year where there have been no British runners in the Supreme?

Just looking at the market and seeing how abysmal the British lot are. Goes to show, as much as he gets stick on here and social media, how reliant the British are on Nicky Henderson.

Very true! As has been said nicholls need someone buying better horses for him because it just ain’t working at the minute. It’s not as if owners haven’t got the pockets to pay, they’re just picking up the wrong sorts, more often than not.

I do hope Dan Skelton keeps pushing on as he seems to be the one that can help push the UK challengers. It’s shite for racing when it’s all pointing over the sea and we all look at WPM first and even Elliott who’s won 1 supreme is that right? That’s before looking at anything over here other than Hendo trained.

More worrying is he’s not going to be around as a trainer for much longer one would think
He Has three, maybe 4 , serious chances of winning this year, and top races as well
Arkle, CH and CC main 3 of course
                        Triumph as well big possibility
                        We should celebrate him imo

Wingmen still on target for the Bartlett, too.

Gordon said in his Racing TV tour/interview.
