I've just realised i put kopek des bordes in the monthly yankee tor the turners, was happy with that bet for all of two days ! My apologies to whoever followed.
"his final circuit time was easily the fastest of the three hurdle races run on the day, one of which was over two miles, and his finishing splits from three out, two out and the last were arguably even more impressive given the two-mile hurdle didn’t really begin to take shape until the home turn. Most of the official 12 lengths he put between himself and runner-up Wingmen came after the last and though he’s in all three novice hurdles, he looks to me a better fit for the Albert Bartlett than the other two given the stamina on display here. A 148 timefigure sets an extremely high standard."
Has anyone considered Salvator Mundi now going to the county? Maybe Willie wasn't joking all along.
Was discussed elsewhere on another thread. Would need another run before the cut off, and Willie had said previously SM goes straight to Cheltenham after his previous win.
Obviously any entries in the next few weeks would be an indication and an inevitable price collapse if he's entered in an current markets
"He goes for the Supreme. I think he’s a horse with a lot of tactical speed and he didn’t jump well because they were going so slow in the Moscow Flyer.
“We have Kopek Des Bordes in the race now, it’s going to be interesting which one Paul rides, we haven’t talked about it yet, but this fellow will need to do a lot at home I think.
“The race the other day was inconclusive the thing I liked about it was after looking like he had blown up at the second last, once he got his second wind, he came through and won convincingly. For me it takes a good horse to do that in Grade One company.”
