Had my eye on him and Karafon today for the Pipe with their 5th hurdle run today.

          No sweat.

          What will be will be.

He's a super horse to watch in any race.

          • I would have asked the Kopek owner what race he's already on him for Cheltenham in that ITV interview! Although he probably would have said both Supreme And Turners!

            • Not nice looking markets at the moment.
Long way to go and a lot of faffing I reckon.
Mundi has become the forgotten one for today at least.

                • 7/2 NRNB for the Turners for Kopek Des Bordes is absolutely massive after that

and 7.75/1 the NRNB Supreme (KDB) / Turners (FD)

Impossible not to play at those

Last year's Ballyburn - Slade Steel race is in my mind so I did supreme/turners doubles of KDB and Karniquet and definitely need to get KDB and Final Demand double onboard too

                    • Kopek surely goes to the Supreme and wins it easily

He's far too keen early on to be getting stepped up in trip

                      Supreme would suit him perfectly

                      • Mullins said:- “The horse was very keen and free the whole way, but Paul just let him have his head going down to his hurdles and he jumped way better than Christmas. We did a lot of schooling with him since the last day.

“When he looked to be in a lovely position then the loose horse set him mad. Paul had to yank him back, but he still put in a huge jump in at the second last. I think he’ll have no trouble jumping fences after that.

                        “It was a tremendous performance.

“This horse didn’t walk like you would like one to walk at the sales, but we took a chance on him with his page.

“I don’t see any need to go up in trip because he’s going to need a very fast pace in his races.”

Townend told RTE:- “I wound him up to jump early and it lit him up a bit but I thought we were hacking around there.

“When the loose horse came to me down by the last ditch he ran away with me again and he was brave to go down and jump the second last and not follow him because he’s very inexperienced. That showed here at Christmas but he’s come on leaps and bounds from that.

“I never had to dip him at all. As I say I thought we were hacking and he ran away with me leaving the back straight, not too many do that.”

                        From Irish racing.
