Would like them to go from the front with Jasmin again, now that his jumping has improved a bit.

      • Surprised Gordon mentioned Bartlett for Wingmen given he looks primed for a Martin Pipe (needs one more run).

He wouldn't want to be meeting Final Demand again, albeit that one could still end up in a Turners.

Is Gordon playing games? Or do we think he's genuine?

He must have a good one lined up for the Pipe if so, given it's a race he likes to target.

Yeah, obviously really keen on him, having already made a case for him for everything from the Pipe to the Pertemps

But Wingmen just stands out as an obvious one, although no entry from now until the 23rd February will give us our answer.

Do you think Wingmen might be rated to high for the pipe? He was 139 going in and ran a better race today. He could be low 140’s which with tax could be bothersome.

That looked a proper performance today from Final Demand. Better than anything in the Nathaniel Lacy for a few years so it wouldn’t be a shock to see (by extension) FD rated mid 150s (although they’d not need to give him a mark).

I was thinking The Enabler was his Martin Pipe horse

                • I have had Wingmen backed for the Bartlett for a while now and I am surprised to see this but I won't complain. I don't think he would turn around yesterdays result but if Mullins goes down the Turners route for Final Demand then I don't see why not.

I am trying my usual failed attempt at predicting where the horses will run but it is worth pointing out that Wodhooh is Martin Pipe bound according to Gordon Elliott and is on 136. I can't recall if any mares have won it but I suppose this year seems set to be a trend breaker.

Does his PU count as a run?

                        Not sure JM

I was just counting the amount of runs
                        possible it wouldn’t count

Yeah, was coming on to question the PU.

If it doesn't count then one more run in the next 3 weeks required a bit like Wingmen, assuming The Enabler keeps his entry today.

I think someone mentioned before that it depends on when the PU happens in the race.
