Yes she looks like the Kempton and Tauntons of the world are right up her street and she’s out of a sprinter and is a half sister to joyeuse whose only win so far coincidentally was at Taunton. As a backer of AP recognising all the factors I believe disadvantage her I’d be more than happy if she got within 5 lengths. She’ll make it up and more on more testing ground and a stiffer track I’d hope.

    • Trying to workout Mark Walsh rides in the Supreme/Turners.

If Kaid wins then he'll go Supreme without a doubt. But what do they then do with Kel Histoire and Kawaboomga? Kel Histoire has already been beaten by Salvator Mundi when everything you can imagine was wrong with the Mundi win so I don't believe that KH will take him on again so can see him joining TNL in the Turners. Likewise Kawaboomga got beat by Kopek when the latter jumped like a snooker table so he'll go Supreme with Kaid. Should Kopek win then Kaid will either stay at home or again go Supreme depending on how he runs. In this scenario no reason for Kawaboomga (Walsh up in Supreme) to take on an improved Kopek again and the liklyhood would be that Walsh would ride KH in the Turners.

There you go...... I've changed my stance and JP can have 2 in the Turners after all.

      Hope this suits everyone's pocket.

Kawaboomga be long odds on to go Turners now

Both trainer and jock said as much re the trip

I'd say Kaid will go supreme unless he bombs out, and Kel Histoire could do either or stay at home (doubt he'd be quite good enough now anyway)

Why would they take on Kopek again ???? Doesn't make sense. Won what currently sits as the best Novice Hurdle in Ireland so far comfortably over 2m . Why step up in trip especially with an even faster run race at the Festival??? Can't see the logic.

It's obvious that he was given an educational time of things at Xmas and fully entitled to come on loads for it.

Willie said he was caught for toe 3 out at Fairyhouse, best work after the last home

'i think he'll go for the Turners, he's a cheltenham horse all time, I think he just needs a trip, another half mile be right up his street, I think he'd travel very sweetly with another half mile to go'

Picked the 2nd up easily enough to my eye in a slow run race. JP won't be pitching him in again against Kopek should he win tomorrow. His form though says he'd have a better chance v Mundi than Kaid if he gets beat and KH

Give Willie a call and tell him then

Good job its not your eye that matters

                        I don't, I don't particularly care where he goes

I'm just repeating what trainer has said.

I know. What do you actually think?

No reason to think he won't go where trainer has said..

For all JP makes the final call, he will for sure get both Willie and Marks inputs - this case, they both said further for him. Gives him 2 'solid' shots at the turners, with them thinking Kaid could be their 2miler.

                            • Didn't even realise Mark Howard was sending out an update in February but here you go in case of any interest:

KEL HISTOIRE (Willie Mullins): Entered in the Sky Bet Supreme and Turners’ Novice Hurdles at the Cheltenham Festival, he is expected to contest the latter.

Mark Walsh also said the horse wants further.

Even if Kaid gets stuffed ? Will they rely on KH who you said ain't good enough? Time will tell. So much hinges on tomorrow's race for sure.
