Just an easy one ante post to not have to consider for me personally, as of now anyway...
Yeah I've not backed him for the Turners or Supreme. Just think there will be better horses at that trip but they've campaigned him well to win a grade 1 already.

    • Valgrand was trying and got broken by PC. That's why they have turned to handicaps. Think it is WTD that is making the difference at the yard. I believe it was his idea to drop down to 2m for the Formby last time, clearly knows you need to have 2m form to win a Turners! I reckon he knows you need an RPR in the 150+ as well prior to the Festival to have the requisite experience, hence another run. Good trainers know to fit their horses into the trends...

NTD should not have any horses at single figures for a festival race

            Neither should STD

            They are the facts.
Good thing he’s trained by WTD then eh

Yes, and I get the feeling things are changing a bit in that yard.

                • The classic novice hurdle at Cheltenham on Saturday
Can it be as good as the 2013 version? Pretty impossible to top that edition with a view to the cheltenham novice hurdles though.

The new one went off slight odds on against future gold cup winner coneygree and at fishers cross, it turned in to a staying contest and at fishers cross caught the new one on the run in coming clear of coneygree.

At fishers cross went on to win the albert bartlett
The new One went on to win the Neptune (turners)

This season sees Potters charm also from the twiston davies yard like the new one. One of the main contenders for the turners.
I've been keen on Bill joyce for the Albert bartlett for a while now and his path has been very similar to the oneils AB horse from last season, jonnywho. Bill joyce is just better though.

I don't think Bill joyce can beat Potters charm, I just think he's so classy. I do though think he can test him and if there is any lack of stamina from Potters charm he'll be the one to take advantage of this.

It's not a form related double just yet, but it's got a chance of becoming a nice looking one by Saturday evening

                  Potters charm 7/1
                  Bill joyce 33/1

                  271/1

                  • Potters Charm declared for the Grade 2 on Saturday. Runs with a penalty.

Was hoping they were going to go straight there, but can understand striking whilst the iron is hot mentality for such a yard!

Faugheen was the last horse to win the Ballymore/turners having not raced in the same calendar year.

Id take him running on Saturday more positively than negatively.

Bill Joyce running too, that will give us a nice form line to The New Lion as well.

Koktail Divin is being absolutely smashed up ACROSS THE BOARDS in the Turners

(blue in 9 spots - 7 tinpotters, pp/bf the other)
