Be interesting to see if the times back that visual performance up
Edit: 16/1 with some looks very skinny. Not sure it was a Supreme performance.

25L ahead coming to the 2nd last with a circuit to go (FF)
2nd away from the stands 30L ish?
3rd away from stands 30L minimum
at the hurdle with Buntings mistake 35L
20L coming down the hill
2nd last 20L
at the last 12L ahead
line 8-10L ahead
Funiculi carried 11-12
Beckett/Bunting 11-12
Thats just off the eye replaying first time round - but thats a serious serious debut from Funiculi funicula

Without going back and looking at the race again, he was probably going to win by 10-15l if addragoole stayed up if i remember right? Which would make it a 130s performance on paper maybe? My first impression was that he was good and professional, but without a real wow factor.

Yeah he'd have beat an avg yardstick in 2nd easily, he was left legless after going that pace in the race. 140ish performance for me personally, just 2nd lifetime start also so plenty upside in him

Townend said:- “He’s a nice horse and on the form of the race in France he was entitled to do that. What he had been showing us at home was nice.
“I thought we went a good gallop for the ground, and we were spread out the length of Clonmel.
“You are probably going quicker than you feel on him. Everything is very natural and very easy to him.
“We like him a lot and hopefully he has a bright future
Very positive

The winner of the mares was battered by Blue Velvet and Amen Kate in bumpers and Karniquet isn't a horse I'd particularly like either.

What I would say though is 19lb difference in that ground that looked really sapping could have potentially exaggerated it
A good performance nonetheless, and Paul obviously liked what he felt.
Where he fits in, who knows. Maybe that Listed race at Punchestown end of next month and go from there.
