I've currently got 27 open bets for Cheltenham and 13 have got Salvador Mundi in them some way or another.
-10 for the Supreme
-1 for the Ballymore (which I'll cash should he win tomorrow)
- 2 for tomorrow (rolling onto other races for March).
I said after Envoi fell in the Marsh chase I'd never base so many of my festival bets around 1 horse but yet i'm in a similar prediciment this year.
Needless to say please win well tomorrow

I do think that supreme is the target but you never know, all it could take is something like kopek des bordes being very keen at the drf and them thinking they can't go further than 2m with him, which could mean salvator going further if there going to be townends two rides.Last edited by riccirich; 11 January 2025, 11:54 PM.

If you have him at huge odds you'll probably be able to lay him off on the exchange for the ballymore for a free bet at some point, as there's usually always guessing going on right up to the festival about what race mullins is targeting, so his price would probably tighten up for that race at some point if it's a case of people thinking he wins whichever race he goes for.

Just makes sense imo

….Mullins;
Kel Histoire; ‘A horse who was very impressive when winning at Cork in December. A flat right-handed track will suit him. Trip and ground will too.’
SM; ‘He heads our challenge with Paul Townend riding. He’s a really nice horse who we bought after finishing second to Sir Gino in France. That form looks fantastic now. Salvator Mundi won in Tipperary in May by a jaw-dropping 62 lengths.
I’d have rather got a run in him before now but we think he’s in good form and are happy to let him take his chance in a tip-top race.’
