No,lots of trainers use them in a precautionary fashion, doesn't always indicate the horse has any breathing issues, but they can easily flip their tongue in a race and thats game over for you.

    • I was leaning towards the opinion that Kel Histoire was going to be my Supreme horse, the way he jumps travels looks like he's ideally suited to that particular test to my eye.
However, I'm really concerned by his entry alongside the Supreme fav this weekend. I know Mullins likes to run multiple horses but I cannot think of a time that both of his horses that were being targeted at the Supreme (with a winning chance) have taken each other on in the Moscow Flyer. I usually see it as his (potential!) number one and an also ran/s. I'm severely hoping that Kel Histoire is not an also ran, although, at this stage it looks likely to me.

He's no choice, where else does he go with them

They're both winners so would have to go to a winners or graded race

JP has Kaid in the DRF
          Willie Kopek for the DRF

Makes sense willies non JP prospect and a JP prospect both turn up here

Wouldn't be something I'd be worried about at all

As a JP horse the decision won't have been Willie's.

It just makes sense,if it doesn't bother the horse (It bothers a lot of them) then why not, when breathing problems occur you rarely get any advance notice,if they're making noise when working you'd get them checked over so if that isn't the case here the first they'd know of it is when racing, and thats never a good time to find out, even more so in a graded race with a highly thought of horse.

the mobile app is becoming less and less useful as more articles are tucked away. I find it very annoying as a subscriber to Raceform as most of their comments are word for word what RP use. Don’t know what I would do with Fat Jockey to keep me informed !

                • Go on Mundi do your stuff. I'm expecting him to win and win impressively. Anything less and I'll be disappointed.

Patrick has given him the kiss of death now, says they'll be disappointed if he's beat.

Got him at 50's but it'll be small consolation.

                        He'll not get beat.

Patrick isn't one to rely on though

However, like you, I'm expecting a win, and win well.

You can get 40/1 Supreme/Arkle, which is fair, if you think he's just that good!

                                Is he?
One bang average performance in the Triumph last year, has any horse he beat that day done anything since?
Sure someone will know to save me searching?
And a massacre in the summer against nowt.

Maybe he will be a superstar, but he ain’t yet .
