    • PP push Kaid D'authie out to a standout 14s for the Supreme, perhaps in response to move on Salvator Mundi (although they left Kopek unchanged)? Hopefully all well in that camp

Yeah, last matched on exchanges @ 17 (16/1), and Kel Histoire coming in a bit on there for the race. Not huge amounts, and suspect it's off the back of Kel Histoire being in the Moscow Flyer, to be honest.

        • matched at 12s since and nothing moving in turners so just PP messing about. I reckon

Ignoring the first 3 years of Mullins hotpots, the SP of the winner in this race has been 50, 9/2, 5, 15/2, 16, 10

Fair prices on the day, if nothing stands out here, don't go looking imo

Yes - that particular bit of reasoning I wish I could follow myself more often.

Odd move. Thought Kopek would be the one they'd push out as him and Mundi look to be Paul's and Willies best.

                          • Surprised there has been no mention of Kimi De Mai for the Mares Novice (Especially as another 'K'). Mullins French recruit from AQPS who won three races on the flat with her only defeat coming to the well mentioned Kel Histoire on debut. Goes in the mares maiden on Saturday at Fairyhouse where she takes on the well touted Sixandahalf for Cromwell, rated 94 on the flat and the experienced Qualimita. She has the hood and tongue tie which worked well in France on so doesn't suggest they are experimenting. 20/1 best price available, we may get some WTAF prices or there is also the option of NRMB at 16/1 which is fair, though worth remembering Mullins may still run her as a maiden if she doesn't win to get the experience and come back as a second season novice next year!

                            • Maughreen is good and we're very happy with her." he said. "She's been doing everything right but the ground has held us up all along. She's a very big mare and we don't need to take a chance.
"We decided we'd wait until after Christmas, so it's now whenever Willie wants to pull the trigger. I'd expect her to be entered and to run before the end of the month, but it'll be up to Willie which race."

                              • He said: "Paul Townend has done a lot of schooling on her and she jumps very well. When we break in horses at home, we do a lot of loose schooling and she was always a very natural jumper. She pricks her ears a couple of strides before a hurdle and takes it on and gets down nice and low. We just need the right race and right ground for her now and she's all set.

"Plenty of winners came out of her Punchestown bumper and the form is turning out to be competitive. We just don't know how good she is but she's showing plenty and her schooling has been very professional.

"The aim is to turn up at Cheltenham for the Mares' Novices' and we still have plenty of time. We don't want to rush her and we want to mind her, especially a mare of that calibre."
