    • We get another chance to see Karoline Banbou again

Hoping she will improve plenty on that debut

The Codfather says he would like to see him in the Bartlett

Jumped like a snooker table (or whatever the phrase is) on debut. Jasmin was similar, but got an overreach so they couldn't get enough schooling into him prior to Lawlors. Hopefully for all of my Kopek Des Bordes bets, Karoline will show that Willie does know how to school them!

          • Romeo Coolio now tops this year's Timeform Novice Hurdle ratings.

            • Great to finally see an entry for Mundi. Fingers crossed he's declared, racing goes ahead and that he reappears in top form. Nice to see Kel Histoire the only entry for JP in the Moscow Flyer as well. Clearly they see him as a Supreme horse.

Alex Hammond on ATR seems to think all is OK as they have a very small stake in the horse.

It says to me that they see him as their second best horse behind Kaid - whether that means Supreme or Ballymore I don't know but I'd have to believe he'd be running at DRF, or the Lawlors, if he was the number one JP horse for all that Shuffle The Deck ran terribly in the JP colours on Sunday and Kaid only ran two weeks ago so its probably too soon for him to run in the Moscow Flyer

                      • Surprises me that JP doesn’t run some of his novices against each other, or they haven’t thus far when upped in Grade. Would help establish the pecking order and preferable distances.

I expect he didn't run in the Lawlors because it was more a stayers race and maybe doesn't want Kel and Kaid to face off at DRF ? Don't know.

                          • To me it looks a bit of a carbon copy of 2022, Kel Histoire is taking the Dysart Dynamo route, and Kaid Dauthie is taking the Sir Gerhard route.

Out of Mullins last 7 winners of the Moscow Flyer, only IEP went to the Ballymore, the rest all went to the Supreme.

Sir Gerhard went 2m, 2m, 2m5f (Ballymore). If anything is looking at going the Sir Gerhard route it would be Kel & Kopek, IMO.

Despite the Moscow Flyer > Supreme route noted, he's had as many Turners winners (2) from the Moscow Flyer route as he has Supreme (2).

I think it's very much a case of fitting them all in somewhere.

                              • I detected from Mullins that Kel Histoire might be one to go up in trip.
I'd expect that the Moscow Flyer suits Willie to see if it helps smarten up his jumping, and face off against his number one supreme horse. Nothing to lose either way.
And JP and willie can see how 2 miles in graded company suits Kel, then compare that to how Kaid gets on in Dublin.

Then (for JP) make decisions after that nearer the time around Skeltons horse also, who looks Turners bound. The money for him before the purchase was probably JP linked, even if not I'd reckon he'd honour any money put down by previous owner and skelton yard etc.
