Can't see it. Think kaid and Kel will end up being split. Not sure re Boom. He could yet be the surprise package.

      • Kopek and Kaid both backed for Turners with PP and left unchanged for Supreme. Order taking shape.

Think COD might be right re- Kawaboomga. I mentioned it last week that he might not go to Cheltenham and we are probably shoe horning horses in here . I know money isn't an object for JP and had a fair quiet spell for a few years but the last couple of years he has thrown the chequebook around like confetti and stocked right up again. He might back off a little bit next season so having a few hardy novices in his ranks would make sense.

          • Unlike him to hold anything back. He just loves them to run. No need to hang onto his Novice tag as he has bloody hundreds of them to play with.

            • Just watched Kopek's debut again and his jumping was so poor. I don't think he jumped any hurdle well. People can try and blame Patrick but how well did Townend do on Jasmine De Vaux? A shit jumper is a shit jumper? So I really hope Kopek can jump better(I'm heavily invested) because regardless of how big an engine you have, jumping is still the name of the game.

Just to also note that on his first run, jumping awfully, Kopek had an almost identical time to Workahead who pinged every hurdle and was ridden to the line on his second start of the season.

              • Has joystick been a bit over looked with all the excitement of the lawlors, Patrick was really keen on him as a bumper and theres been some nicr comments from willie too. Willies already confirmed he needs a trip and will be stepped up, some real bartlett remarks from willie too, staying type, real chaser in the making, etc...
66s for the spud and some 100s for the turners, think this one could well turn out to be a graded 3miler this season.

                • Despite Gordons words about The Yellow Clay heading to the 2m5f race, he sure seems weak for it in comparison to the Bartlett, on the exchanges at least.

                    Would he put us away?
Anyway, I’m glad I’ve covered for both races.
Think he’s a big threat in chosen race.

                      I've not a clue.

I think it's as Quevega (I think) said, it will come down to the ground on the day.

Can't see a way he runs in the Turners if it's on the good side of soft, but anything worse and it's a real possiblity.

Yep, ground could well decide, and it makes perfect sense imo

Looks like the Donnelly's are joining the party!
