Given how highly they rate Regent's Stroll I'm not sure Paul would be willing to send him to a Bartlett, with a flies to his future.
Interesting race for two reasons. They say you need stamina to win a Supreme. Kaid D'Authie fits all the parameters with the speed too. Koktail Divin was one very much on my radar and left him alone today thinking i could get a better price needing the run. He looks like he should go the other way and a longer trip will suit. I am even more interested than i already was for the mid trip or Bartlett. Probably potato race with the connections.
I’d agree and say that looked a supreme performance from Kaid than a Ballymore. Walsh nearly made a pigs ear of it as looked like he eased down more or less last half furlong, whether that’s because Kaid didn’t have much left or not.

Both look nice types though.
Was eye-catching to see Kaid wasn't even shown the whip either, just a few slaps down the neck, might suggest plenty under the bonnet.
“He’s a lovely big, long-striding horse who has very little respect for his hurdles and looks like he could be more of a chaser,” said Mullins, who had endured a thin spell by his standards over the first two days of the festive racing period.
“He’s a big chasing type and is similar to Majborough. They both cover a huge amount of ground when they gallop.
“I’d say he’ll come back here for the Dublin Racing Festival and take on the top two-milers and we’ll see where he is then.”
