Walsh said:- "He was very sticky over the first three but you wouldn't mind that on his first run over hurdles and he warmed into it, he jumped well.
“The further he went, the better he jumped.
"He was fine on that ground and I'd say he'll go on slower ground and will have no bother on winter ground."

KH looks well suited to the Supreme on that showing. Pretty keen early. Looks to have plenty of pace. Going quicker would help. Ground was plenty fast enough today so the guaranteed Softer ground on day one would also suit. He looks a nice prospect.

Happy to be on with the early shout!
Couldnt be arsed playing mullins bingo with him so have covered both races.

Very quick timings done on the first 2 maiden hurdles @ cork
Overall times were both recorded as 4mins3s
Kel Histoire carrying 11-7
Relieved of Duties carrying 11-12
from the first hurdle to the finish line - Kel Histoire has won by around 15L.
**will look more in depth to this in an hour or so when i get a chance

If Kel Histoire is anything like some of his half siblings (by sire) then he's probably going to need soft/heavy to be seen to best effect, IMO.
Teahupoo, Maskada & Predators Gold the top 3 performing horses by Masked Marvel, all run well with plenty of cut in the ground. I'd be worried for him in a Supreme where it's on the good side of soft, or better.
I have a 50/1 ticket on him, and in no rush to cash it out, seeing as he's just won his maiden, but very much believe his chances depend on the conditions on the day.

Looked fine on it for me, G/S maybe an unknown, but probably is for plenty of these winter ground types. One positive is Lucarno handled quick ground no issues.

….Mullins;
Jasmin De Vaux also won at Navan but he hasn’t got the natural speed for two miles, I’d imagine we’ll go out in trip with him. He will learn as he goes along. He’s got an engine and I was impressed with the way he opened up after the last, we just have to get him to jump a little quicker.

Souple = soft.
