That said, it's still a solid form boost for Roadlesstravelled, and he's been one of the better 2m novice hurdlers in the UK, so I've had a play on the 40's, albeit probably expecting him to come up short.
Skelton suggested Aintree on Racing TV. Plans can change but concerned about hurdling with respect to Supreme.

EDIT - 40/1 too big not to have a go so I've taken it, but I reckon he won't turn up.

Yep agree that the race fell into his lap, but still a good performance.
Gone in again on Roadlesstravelled after that.

            Reasonable prices still imo
Will find out more when upped in grade of course, but he did it well enough to me.

Sorry, I was referring to Country Mile who is also 40/1 with Paddy

              • Decent enough from Kel Histoire, though wouldn't be getting carried away on a 3 1/2 length win over Dream Diamond, who was beat 18 lengths last time and the form already been let down by the 2nd. Be interesting to see how the time compares with the 12:30 over same c/d.

                • Has anyone seen any quotes from Willie re KH?

I Thought that was a very nice introduction and think he’ll come on loads for it. Jumped well enough for 2 miles IMHO.

Not Willies decision though. JP (and Walsh) will want to split his best ones. So far we've got Kaid Dauthie who was forward going and Kel Histoire who looked a relaxed type.

Walsh said:- "He was very sticky over the first three but you wouldn't mind that on his first run over hurdles and he warmed into it, he jumped well.
“The further he went, the better he jumped.

"He was fine on that ground and I'd say he'll go on slower ground and will have no bother on winter ground."

One day they'll start listening JM

Coupled with the fact Hendo said she'd stick to the mid trip, almost looked too obvious that would happen today.

Massively. And Big Bo Zenith too - I thought he'd pull up at the top of the hill!

Hills just pushed Valgrand out to 25/1 for the County Hurdle, had a nibble as can't see him targetting supreme now.
