Something to bare in mind, he was entered in the 2m3 maiden but they've opted for the 2m, at least as a starting point. Could just be that they thought that suited him and joystick that way round

Yep. As we know with Willie, Supreme/Turners.....same thing. Shuffle, shuffle.

        • Ben Pauling on Diva Luna.....

Finally, set your watches for 1.30pm sharp on Monday.
DIVA LUNA (1.30 Lingfield) is making her hurdling debut and I couldn’t be more excited.

She was a Grade 2 bumper winner and her schooling at home has been fantastic. She’s very classy and I’m hopeful she could make into a Supreme horse for March.

….out to 25-1 MNH after getting turned over at odds-on.

            • Don't think we seen the Supreme winner there today

Be lucky if she places in a Mares Novice Hurdle too.

I appreciate it was her first run of the season, but connections were seemingly very bullish about today so would have been expecting her to win.

                • Quebecois to miss the Challow and "needs further". So that implies to me that Regents Stroll may well go to the Challow. And I think there are worse bets than Quebecois at 50/1 for the Bartlett.

Suspect he goes for the River Don next.

Regents is jocked up in the 2m novice at Cheltenham on Friday, but he did infer he'd be Challow bound over the weekend.

                    • Betfair cut Kaid D'authie today by half, back into 25/1. That 50/1 pointed out by Quevega (I think) was clearly overpriced.

Bit annoyed if he sends Regent's Stroll to the Challow, it's a graveyard for the Turners, and I think he's a serious prospect for that race. I actually can't believe he is still 25/1 to be honest!

A bold enough statement, but I think he'll be better than Bravemansgame both as a hurdler and eventual chaser, provided he stays sound, of course.

Be keeping an eye on her prices, I suspect she’s one that will be a lot better next time we see her.

                            • Disappointing from Diva Luna. Winner was a close 4th in her Aintree Bumper and is clearly a decent type but you'd have wanted her to win that. She did miss a few weeks out injured so they could use that as an excuse but I did expect more.

                              • Disappointed in Diva Luna - suckered in by Pauling's bravado and talk about the Supreme! Took the early prices as a roll-up with a few festival fancies and had mentally chalked them up as winners in my head. A firm reminder to take most stuff I read with a pinch of salt.
