He was always going to win after Johnny Dineen put up the 2nd as his 'midweek treat'

      • Diva Luna

"She is obviously unbeaten in two bumpers - the listed race at Market Rasen and the Mares’ Aintree bumper. She was pretty unextended to win both and I think she is a very, very smart individual who will, hopefully, go some way to being a top mares’ novices’ hurdler this season. The aim would be to be at the Festival, and whether it would be in the Supreme, Ballymore or the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle we will find out. She is unbelievable in her schooling sessions, and she will run at the end of this month in a mares’ novice and then we will look to run in the Listed Mares’ Novice at Newbury and then may go to the Jane Seymour before the Festival."

She is entered up for this Monday at Lingfield. Currently a general 16/1 for the MNH. Her Aintree Bumper has worked out very well with virtually every runner either winning or placed since. She sounds like another very special Lady !!!

        • Any word on Jalon D'Oudaires? I know Gordon said he'd pulled a muscle but was hoping to hear something by now. I'd be looking at the 2m4 maiden at Leopardstown that Ballyburn won last year for him to start off.

          • Gordon hasn't given up with the 2m route for The Enabler declared in the same race that Jasmin De Vaux has been declared for.

We can all see what you're doing Gordon!

You've missed out the top boy Final Demand. Although some of his entries over 2m are making my 'dark horse for the AB' look less likely

2m3f on Tuesday, not a bad trip to start life out over

Also 2m on the same day plus a Future Champion Novices entry over 2m at Xmas so I've absolutely no idea!

Connections also have Fishery Lane, so it will be interesting to see which one gets declared. I imagine FL will as he has missed out the last twice when entered so must be ready to go.

                      • Emma Nagle has an impressive record when picking out horses with winning potential. Three of her horses to follow with top-class credentials are declared to run at Navan on Saturday, including an exclusive Willie Mullins dark horse.

Personally very interested to see how both these novices run Saturday.
Not so much the bumper horse though.

                        • Good having 3 maidens at navan within an hour or so of each other, especially for time freaks.

                          • The Yellow Clay likely to be odds on to take the Navan Novice Hurdle.

Every Gordon Elliott winner of the race has ended up in the Bartlett.

                            • Nicky on Minella Premier today

'Question' - Minella Premier came with a big reputation from the point to point scene, is he nearly ready?

Nicky - "No we are probably going to leave him alone for a bit, He's not quite ready and we will see how things are going after Christmas"
