He might flip romeo and yellow clay, he did say these were his fastest 2 in the yard.

              • There was a report on here recently that Mister Meggit was OFTS. This article suggests he’s fine and well and they’re just deciding where to go with him next: https://www.racingpost.com/news/brit...-a1sKL7l7LJpg/

AJ O’Neill, who shares the training licence with his father Jonjo, said: “We’re not sure exactly where we’re going to go next but he’s a lovely horse and we’re hoping there’s a nice one in him. We’re mulling over the options.

“He fractured his skull in the bumper at Aintree in the spring. It was an injury we hadn’t seen before but thankfully he has fully recovered and it doesn’t seem to have slowed him down at all. He does quite little to impress at home but it’s nice when they do it that way round and save their best for the track.”

                • Why was Bleu De Vassy pulled at the weekend? Was it just ground or something more sinister?? I do think he's been overlooked for the Supreme. He's definitely surprised GE with his improved form over Hurdles.

He was never going to run 14 days after his previous run. And certainly not if he’s got Supreme ambitions.

Thought the poster said the horse was lame with a stress fracture, don't think they mentioned it needing a season out to recover.

My mistake. How long would you say a horse needs to recover from a stress fracture? My assumption was that would be a season ending injury?

                        • Mentioned very briefly the other day.

But TOUNSIVATOR is not a novice for Cheltenham purposes.

Noticed he's priced up for supreme in a few places and also on betfair.
Poor from the bookmakers as per.

Honestly,it does depend on how bad the fracture is and how the horse acts, they'd just be left in their box and get taken out for a walk around a couple of times a day, obviously medicated before the walk, missus just had one that needed 2 weeks rest before going back into light work, there's another on the yard who is about 4 weeks in,he is very fresh as was racefit when it happened so isn't helping himself,he'll be fine in another couple of weeks though *Crosses fingers*

He was withdrawn too late for this to be the reason wasn't he? Why declare him? Ground was the given reason but that seemed to not make too much sense...

I was having Giggy pissed off when Ewing got off him to get on Romeo. But that was just a complete guess knowing what they're like.

Yes, that confused me the other day when you pointed out to me about that.
                                Seeing him priced up.
Did not fall for it, knew you would be right.
