If he gets declared in that race, and flops

Then I'd be more worried that Ricci paid 500k for him and he couldn't win.

Yes and he should remain that way

In all seriousness though I'd want to see him run before even remotely being interested in him.

1.) He has a flat pedigree so may have peaked during his bumper season and won't have progressed.
2.) Why didn't they go hurdling last season? Was he injured or a poor jumper?
3.) When he did run in the Leopardstown bumper he looked a shadow of his former self.

And for those reasons, I'm ooot.

When i was at the D.R.F. this year , on the tram back into the city , i was talking to a guy .
And he said A.D.T.S. couldn't jump , can't remember the Context , if he knew someone e.t.c , but remember he was adamant about it..

                  • ….Karafon got a decent mention in the Mullins stable tour and could be one to watch today (along with Karamoja for the same reason). Karafon is currently 33-1 for Sup and Turn.

                    • Fairyhouse maiden hurdle - A Dream To Share, Ballygunner Castle, Harbour Highway, Ballybow, Dontstopthemusic, Kazakh Darthel. Decent depth - hoping Harbour Highway shapes well for stepping up.

                        • Really interesting angle with Willie's lot this year. There will be some who have been campaigned usually, whereas others, won't be seen until after Christmas due to niggles. You could have two form lines colliding. Salvator Mundi, Maughreen, Supersundae all not due to run until this other side of Christmas. If that's not the first week after Christmas, you really have to wonder whether they'll get anything more than their maiden in before Cheltenham. Willie has already said that Naas is too close the DRF - there being nearly 4 weeks between the two. So he's not likely to run anything in a maiden after 6th January and then again in either the 2m or 2m6 grade ones at the DRF.

                            Salvator isn't a maiden.

I suspect he'll get an entry at least in the G1 PP Future Champions Novices Hurdle over Christmas.

He's pretty much got to go down the graded route with him, and now he's not in the Royal Bond, there are not many options before the DRF.

The Moscow Flyer is another option, but don't think he'll be out that late, provided all is well with him of course.

I need to look at the racing calendar, but wondered if there is a "winners of no more than 1 race" 2m novice hurdle placed suitably before DRF they might go for with Salvator Mundi

"He had a little setback earlier in the season, but is in good shape now. He’s likely to start off at Christmas or maybe just after it. His form reads well, and he could be anything."
