It's the latter - he's deleted the tweet that said there was an issue and he is now saying he will be out in fairyhouse in three weeks. He was waiting to hear back from BC, saw the drift and panicked.

Claiming he was reacting to the exchanges and awaiting an update from BC at the time which eventually stated he’s ok and runs in the royal bond.

Doesn't bode well for the Mares Novice, IMO.

…..Mares Novice Hurdle namechecked and very high praise from Harry Fry re Anno Power. 40-1 365 seems reasonable ahead of her hurdles bow on Sunday;
”She has schooled great and has shown us lots of speed on the track, and at home. Hopefully all roads lead to the Dawn Run Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
“The plan is to run her in a maiden hurdle at Sandown on Sunday and all being well she will then go to Newbury for a mares’ Listed novices’ hurdle there at the end of the month. We will be sticking at two miles with her and hopefully have lots of fun.
“She is as good as any of the good mares we have had. I’m not sure I’ve trained a horse with such a turn off foot before.
“We have got to go out and do it all again now over hurdles, but she is a lovely mare and as good, at this stage, to any other mare we have had.”

….was only 25-1 Hills so it’s unlikely TWAF price would be any better than that 40-1, still 33s with PP/BFSB.Last edited by Eggs; 9 November 2024, 08:41 AM.

Jonjo has a couple of fancied ones today and i have actually backed All The Glory at Wincanton but in the first at Aintree he has Mr Meggitt. I don't think he will take top rank in the novice ranks but he could be a very good handicapper for March as the season goes on. I am more interested in how the new training combo works this season to see how they get on with these young horses because the stable has regressed a lot over the last few years. And i would love to see the Hemmings colours carried to victory at the Festival again. What was that huge hurdler they had that has been injured for the last couple of seasons? He looked good but probably now too fragile.
