He won't boycott it but he'll certainly be keeping more at home to pick up pots .

Just need a bit of luck, alongside the thought process and research.

That's so true. If Gordon hadn't sat on the dead horse, Quilixios would have been lining up in the Fred Winter. Not sure anyone could have foreseen that!

You had the rub of the green in that respect FM re: the famous 4 fold, not sure how Gordon’s conversation with CP would have went trying to talk them into the juvenile handicap.

He’s won plenty of handicaps at the festival, it’s the grade 1’s that have eluded him in the main, imagine the fallout of those race plans trying to justify Adagio & HEC getting the better of Zanahyir after Quilixios wins the handicap on the bridle. They probably would have cleared out their horses from the yard anyway after such a bad steer.

It was almost certainly the plan so I'm assuming CP had bought into the idea at the time. It would have been a shocker of a decision in hindsight.

Ginger Joe stable tour with Barry Connell. Barry says William Munny is a grade 1 horse and reading between the lines, the Supreme is the target. Go on Bazza!

He is a legend. Love listening to him. His tour around his yard a couple of weeks ago was superb. The care he gives his horses should be the benchmark.

In fairness, given the actual lack of horses he has he's gone and won a Supreme and a G1 At the DRF in the last two seasons.

He clearly has ability to train and knows what it takes, but yeah, his optimism isn't one to take on word. Mind you, I'd rather he be bullish than pessimistic.

I actually quite like William Munny. It's just a shame he's going to be a 7 year old, which is a stat I don't like for the Supreme.

Can't argue with that. There is a little clique of them. Lots of good ones out there though. Dave is quality on Cheltmental. The Cheltex lads are top notch. OFLH are good entertainment, LTR very good, Jumps show is intelligent, Champ.ie also intelligent and the 3 lads on The Final Flight podcast are very good. The Finishing Line is just white noise, would be heaps better if their microphones were all the same volume and they didn't shout over each other all the time but i like listening to them for the entertainment value. The one man banders Mark Mackay and Martin Colwell are good. but the ultimate is Upping The Ante. That should be back very soon. The Road To Cheltenham is worth watching just to hear Ruby and i will watch owt with Emma Nagle on because i am a perv

Don’t think Johnny Dineen is back on UTA from the last I seen. Which is shame he was great entertainment
