Could he not be plotted towards a Pertemps ?
    Obviously a bit trickier now….

…..after he was included in last months Yankee, I watched back Kopek des Bordes win in that €60k Fairyhouse bumper in March and it was impressive.

Bit of hype about him after that, so given the increasing ante-post caution I’m a little surprised he’s available at 25-1 for both Sup & Gallaghers, maybe he didn’t beat much.

I nailed Stellar Story last season and I think connections have a decent one to go to war with this season. Like 95% of the horses Gigginstown purchase, he’s a stayer through and through. Lovely pedigree with plenty of black type and his 2nd dam is a half sister to Deman. He won the bumper at Navan that Gordon farms with his better horses but was always going to miss Cheltenham. Jalon D’oudairies was due to run in that race too but The Enabler was first choice on jockey bookings. His DRF defeat was still a good run as he got done by the speed horses in the finish which was expected.
From a breeding standpoint he's awesome. By Walk In The Park, Dams sire Flemensfirth.

Yeah he’s a text book Gigginstown purchase. I’d not be interested in him for any other race than the AB.

I don't think he would have the speed. He would get taken off his feet early on IMO. I'm with Jackie here, AB or nothing for me. They have a few candidates though Gigginstown but he'd be my pick before seeing what becomes of both Kish Bank and Drop A Threat who could both feasibly go down the bumper route.

Aren't they run over the same C&D. I know the Pertemps likely has a bigger field but anything that'd be taken off it's feet there has no chance in an AB surely.

Cheltenham handicaps to me just seem to all be 100mph. With the exception of The Jukebox Man last season the AB seems to be a steadier run race. Could do though i suppose. Plenty of Grade 1 horses have come out of the Pertemps. After Stellar Story last year, i could see a similar route being plotted for their AB horse so be interesting to see where he starts off.

…..looks like Unibet has him priced up at 33-1, hopefully one or two more follow suit.

I wouldn't have any concerns about his tactical speed as he did not have an issue in his bumpers or point. The reason I'd say the Pertemps is unlikely is that he'd need to run five times prior to the Festival and then take on older horses. The change in the Pertemps rules means it could also be tougher to get in as well.

Yeah of course, the only reason I wouldn't dismiss it is that if there's any trainer who is happy wasting most of the season for a Cheltenham mark it's Elliott.
If we get to Christmas and he's run just the once then you can have more confidence he'll be AB headed, but if I had the strong views of yourself and Yosser and I had access to all prices, I'd probably split stakes across the AB and Any Race markets...

Only Unibet at 33/1 but I’ve not requested anything myself.

Looks like Unibet have got markets on basically every race! Might have to try and set up a new account.
