You not think he handled the yielding ground well today then?
Looked fine on it for me, G/S maybe an unknown, but probably is for plenty of these winter ground types. One positive is Lucarno handled quick ground no issues.
He handled it fine today, but it was a maiden.
As they move up in grade I think he'll very much come into his own on worse ground. Hopefully still runs well up until the festival for us all though.

Hmmm yeah didn't look to me like he needed soft from todays showing, didn't have a pronounced action either. FWIW Mark said he fine on that ground today but would go on winter too. Not something I'm particularly worried about until theres a reason to be.

I think this is key. No reason to worry about it yet, I'm just putting it out there that it wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world if he turned out to be at his best on bad ground, and less so on better ground.
This is all talking at the top level, obviously winning lesser races, if they are good enough, then the ground is almost irrelevant.

After kel histoire winning on irish debut the other day he was unsurprisingly cut to a best price 20/ and as low as 14/1 with some.
What has surprised me however is the lack of a mention for Casheldale lad.
After watching kel histoire win it naturally led me to look what he'd beaten.
The horse he beat in to 2nd Dream diamond, had previously finished 3rd to casheldale lad, beaten by a fair bit further, although quite rightly we can assume dream diamond had improved for his first run.
Casheldale lad was brought in to the Elliott yard at the beginning of last season as a 3 year old, having won a maiden on the flat in September. He was mentioned in Elliotts racing post stable tour last season, which was published around the 23rd of October last year.
"He won a Flat maiden at Punchestown for Andrew Kinirons the other day. We're looking forward to getting him going over hurdles and he's schooled well. He won't want bottomless winter ground, so we won't ask him to run on that"
He wasn't seen last season, but he was given an entry for the triumph hurdle towards the end of January.
He's only been mentioned in one stable tour of elliotts i think this season. This was the racing post.
"He won a Flat maiden at Punchestown for Andrew Kinirons and the horse he beat into second that day is now rated 96 so the form looks decent. We're looking forward to getting him out in a maiden hurdle soon. He's nice."
Having now watched his hurdle debut a few times i think theres plenty of ability there. His hurdling was pretty good in the main, a sloppy one at the end but he could be forgiven for getting a bit tired having made all the running on his first start for over 400+ days.
He won his flat maiden coming from off a fairly strong pace, getting up late on.
with a strong pace to aim at up in grade the potential for any amount of improvement is there.
His breeding isnt something I like but I've gone with the eye yest on this one, and I think his price in comparison to what kel histoires is now, is pretty big, although I appreciate most on here would likely be on at 50/1 for kel histoire too.
He's entered up for the future champions over Xmas, but unless the ground is decent I'd doubt he'd be a runner.
With The yellow clay likely to be kept to the longer trips and wingmen being turned over the other day, bective could do with one for the Supreme. the way elliott seems to have looked after this fella and kept fairly quiet about him, I think he could end up a bit more than nice.

You realise his name doesn’t start with a K right. Perhaps as it’s a ‘hard’ C you might be okay.
He's available at 25-1 with ladbrokes for the future champions at xmas. AaronLad
probably a better bet as he's possibly a likely runner, in a likely smallish field.
