Hopefully just a big baby that needs time. Surely he'd have said if he were injured. Nicky has been known to get quick races into his Novices in the past (Shishkin ) so still hopeful he'll make March.

That sounds ominous. Not confirmation that he will be ready, but that they’ll have another think after Christmas. I’m cashing and taking my ball home.

I’ve not backed him but I’d be doing the same.

          • I don't have cashout and have backed him for the Supreme and Turners and would have got out after the stable tour if i could. All the signs are there. Greyed out early on, MIA in the stable tour and now the nonchalant comment. It's on Champ.ie on youtube if anyone wants to see the interview. After his omission from the stable tour i got pictures of minella premier up on the laptop and freeze framed his stable tour when horses were galloping or walking and couldn't find him in about 100 horses. He has a light diagonal white marking on his face and high brown socks but couldn't see him.

              • Any love on here for Port Joulain? Entered up next Tuesday. Was all the rage before running no race at Punchestown. Willie couldn't have praised him any more after his previous Bumper win. Huge prices available.

                  Q. Is which race ? He is quoted in all 3 Nov hurdles at Festival. I backed him early season in Turners but his shortest price is now AB

Yeah, also, after flopping on his second run after an impressive debut, you would want to see him put back to back performances together first. Happy to go in shorter when we have an idea on race and consistency.

If Port Joulain runs well then Good N' Kind for Henry will definitely be on my radar for the AB. Hopefully, see him out soon.

                        • The 1.07 Race at Navan tomorrow produced no less than 3 Festival winners from it's corresponding race last year. Anyone fancy picking a Patent from this year's runners ??

No Martin Pipe market yet, well not properly anyway, so it's probably pointless

Just back The Yellow Clay for the Bartlett!

                              • The layers seem split on Quebecois performance today with regard to the Bartlett, several trimmed him whilst Paddy pushed him out to 50’s. I thought he ran quite a nice race with the AB in mind. You’d think the Turners would be off the table for him now. Anyone have any thoughts or seen any post-race comments from Nicholls?
