I suspect he'll get an entry at least in the G1 PP Future Champions Novices Hurdle over Christmas.

He's pretty much got to go down the graded route with him, and now he's not in the Royal Bond, there are not many options before the DRF.

The Moscow Flyer is another option, but don't think he'll be out that late, provided all is well with him of course.
Good point. But still, in respect of the 1 run then onto Cheltenham. That could be interesting. If he misses Christmas, the Moscow Flyer would be the obvious race for him. The last couple of renewals have been average enough bar the winners.

"Unfortunately, she’s had a setback and won’t run this season which is a real pity for her connections."

To me, I thought he looks one that will be better suited by longer trips over hurdles. Though, I was reminded this morning that he won the Champion Bumper showing a lot of speed. We’ll see how he goes. His first run or two will probably tell us a lot of what we should be doing with him in terms of trip.

He'll have two runs (3 including the one he won), he won't skip the DRF, surely?

This is an absolute classic of the Mullins genre…

I was just thinking if he wasn't ready until mid Jan, you'd think they'd only get one run into him. Would be brave to put him straight in at the DRF.

              • Had some pennies on don'tstopthemusic for the Turners novice hurdle on the machine

Declared in a strong looking maiden this weekend against the likes of A Dream to Share, Ballygunner Castle & Harbour Highway.

Was ultra impressive winning at Punchestown at the end of last season over 2m2, connections said before the race they couldn't see him beat that day, he'd been doing some impressive work with Fastorslow in the buildup.

People who knows peds better than I do will be able to have a better idea on trip for him, but his turn of foot and pace he showed coming through the full field in that bumper was very eyecatching, Sire shows both speed and stamina on his side, and dam had dodging bullets so looks to me could be flexible regarding trip right now.

Not a fan of abbreviations on the whole.
But definitely not the term "peds"

Age could be the issue with your horse. He’ll be 8 come the festival and he’s not stood much racing so far either.

Yeah could well be JM. The mulryans/brassil horses do seem to be campaigned very sparingly on a whole though, maybe not as much as this lad has been mind.
Doesnt cost a lot to find out
