No chance he'd go single figures - from 33/1 even if he was really impressive

Much as I'd like that, having taken 25/1 and 50/1 at points this season and unable to bin them

Provides a reasonable bet to nothing though using NRNB, win = shorter odds. No win no go.
Load up then take a view? 365 ideal for it if you’ve got the account.

Agree, Workahead only 10/1 and took care of him easily on his second start at Xmas.

If Kopek bombs out I think Workahead might be the play. Only issue i have with him is not having any grade form, unlike HDB to go from Xmas to the festival with a novice hurdler. He is 7 though so maybe taken a gentler approach with him. On a line through William Munny, Kawaboomga and Kopek (very very loosely might I add as Kopek improved bundles from 1st to 2nd start), he’d definitely have place chances and a win chance should the fav bomb out.

        • I was very taken by Ballybow yesterday at Clonmel. Reminds me very much of Stellar Story. Looks like he'll stay well. I think he has to come in to play for the Albert Bartlett. Does anyone know if Gordon has said much about him. 25/1 AP and 20/1 NRNB with365. Anyone else tempted or taken by him ?

Yeah I took the 33s antepost with 365 that was available still after the race - Gordon said he goes there now and in a race that the classiest horse doesnt always win, he'd have a solid enough chance imo. His attitude is terrific, really game sort and loved how he stuck his neck out yesterday

Yep added him to my team for similar reasons and Gordy name checked it yesterday, so very positive. Think could be a factor on the Yellow clay factor now too though! I know different owners but another reason Gordon's plan of going Turners makes sense, shame like most have him down for AB horse.

Yep I took odds after the race .
Looks a type to run well in an AB imo

Ground dependent though by sounds of it.

                  • I feel that some of the prices with ladbrokes/ coral antepost are quite generous
                    wingmen 16/1 spud
                    stellar story 16/1 banc
                    the yellow clay 14/1 turners
                    jalon d’oudaries 10/1 bumper

stuck them all in an ew lucky 15

also done nrnb double with hills, yellow in spud and wingmen in pipe

Do you supply his potatoes ?

That’s just got a terrible association. Potatoes and fish fingers for tea. And then I just have an awful image of Clare Rayner with a Brazilian

Ref Derryhassen Paddy. “If all goes well here then the plan after this would be to go to the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival.”..............I am starting to believe !!!

Anyone know why he was a non runner?

Edit - just seen the going is the reason

                            • Three were withdrawn due to the Going. Does that improve our reduce our chance of him running in the AB ? I am marginally with improve. But. He might need the run.

Preferable to have experience for the AB but some of the recent winners didn't need it.
