Certainly now it's been name checked as a possibility. I'd have the two prices closer anyway.

    • Agree it’s a decent price but he’s going to the opener that’s a cert

Certainly sounds like he's his current number 1 for sure.

        • He beat diddly squat, but The Yellow Clay didn't look like he was stopping at the finish and the Bartlett has to come into contention for him now.

Could do with stripping fitter, looked a bit big today as well.

…..into a general 20-1 AB, maybe a bit of 25-1. Fred sleeping on 33-1 at this moment.

It is a AB/MP race on Saxon’s race planner.

            • Albert for me. He'll be too high for MP

I swear Elliott said he looks like a 2 miler also, am I remembering wrong?

Nope, you are remembering correct, he said he looked quick and may even have a flat campaign. Didn't look like that to me today, to be honest.

“He’s going to go novice hurdling and could start off over two-and-three-quarter miles at Down Royal. I’d say he’d have no trouble running over shorter than that. He’d be well able to compete on the Flat if we asked him to.”

He did.. Wouldnt be ruling out anything for now with him. Hes a speedy type that is just flexible but he had to beat nothing there regardless, going quicker might help him jump tbh

                        • "He's a nice horse and I'd say you could bring him back in trip. I'd say anything from two to two and a-half miles is what he really wants."

No plan for 3m for the yellow clay, as expected

…..also a best 25-1 for 21/2 miler (Turners?), seems most likely from the comments.

Can't see him being a two miler. Bookmakers pushed him out for the Supreme (no surprise having just won over 2m6f).

Monksfield up next possibly. Ginto, Fury Road, Death Duty & Mount Benbulben all contested and won that race before heading to the Bartlett.

Samcro & Hollow Games aside, the winner usually ends up in the Bartlett (or headed that way before being ruled out - Croke Park). Samcro started off out over 2m. Hollow Games started off in the same race as The Yellow Clay did today, he ended up in the Pipe, because he wasn't good enough.

Think it's Bartlett or Pipe personally, leaning more towards the Bartlett currently, and can rule out anything else, despite what Gordon has said.

                              • Not just a case of TYC being versatile and obviously gordy werent going to put him in the 2m as Romeo is heading there.

I couldnt have the Bartlett in my mind, and its obviously not in Gordons either, hes mentioning the horse has enough speed for the flat also. I'd say if he went over 2m it would have been a similar performance imo.

Hes already mentioned his are a bit behind this season, so might just be a case of getting those out, hcap could be in the mix tho
