Where do you think PJ will run?? See you backed him for the Gallaghers, any reason for this and will you cover him in the supreme??

Could Salvator Mundi go Gaelic Warrior route?
At 50/1 for the Gallagher's, he is surely worth covering. He is as short as 10s for the Supreme, like his price has to collapse for the Gallagher's if he goes to single digits for the supreme.
He will probable be lightly raced this season like Lossiemouth being a 5 year old. The handicap at DRF over 2 miles could be a target. Run at Christmas, entry for DRF handicap and see what mark he gets, Cheltenham and Punchestown.
Willie might then have found a 2 miler in the rest of his novices at the DRF if he ended up with 1st and 2nd like in 2022 with Gaelic Warrior winning the handicap so GW went Ballymore and Facile Vega and Il etait temps going supreme. In 2022, Willie had said Gaelic warrior was Ballymore bound very early on in the season, I believe it was in March after the boodles. Patrick has said Salvator is a supreme horse as well so he knows lot more than me.

There is lot worse 50/1 bets especially one that is fav for the supreme.
Stable tour will 100% say he goes supreme after this post now as well

I'm with Wayward Lad, I actually think the plans for Salvator Mundi will dictate where many others go.
He is effectively a second season novice so everyone knows what he is all about and if he comes out on reappearance and shows that ability I wouldn't be surprised if many of the challenger 2 milers are then looking at mid trip races, the Gallaghers could end up loaded.
He hovered at 20/1 all Summer and has only shortened since the Mullins stable tour rumours, I can't imagine that will tell us anything we didn't already know (with regards S Mundi) yet he's halved in price in recent days, which tells me the 20/1 offered rare ante post value.

I would caveat that by saying my recent record in the Supreme is horrific....

Gallagher's would be my guess but could end up an Albert horse should he not shine. Don't see him as a Supreme type.

I’m not sure what The New Lion has beat? A couple with an RPR of 100 or so were in third and fourth and less than 10 lengths back. The Nicholls horse in second was had a reasonable reputation but hasn’t run under rules before. But The New Lion couldn’t have done it much more easily. One to see again, I’d say.
The New Lion ran > 3.5 seconds quicker than Quebecois in their respective divisions yesterday. And even though the form of the Quebecois division had more substance then imo TNL piggy backs on that to some degree by running faster and much more on the bridle whereas Q was ridden out more. Not getting involved yet as I agree about watching him next time out but he's going in the tracker to monitor where he goes next as for a UK horse he looks interesting.

            • As expected, no Romeo Coolio in the 2m6f race at DR. Both Wingmen & The Yellow Clay declared.

                He won't run both surely?

He might, given novices need 5 runs to get into a handicap this season.

Gordon said he'd have an entry then said in his latest piece that he expects him to go down the 2m route. So yeah, as expected.
