Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I have, however, gone in again on Sixandahalf after watching that.
Will wait until the day and maybe do 6.5 as cover perhaps as Maughreen Will keep her at a backable price. I'd be a little worried about her holding her form though at the Spring festivals as she's been on the go for a long time despite her small break.

    • Mullins said of Maughreen: "We had to make our own running, I was very happy that she jumps very well. She had been jumping fine at home and we've been happy with her but first time out some horses can get stage fright which she didn't.

"That was only her second run on a race track, when you look at Familiar Dreams - she'd had 10 or 15 runs - so when you're taking on horses with that experience, even thought it was their first run over hurdles, she was able to overcome all that and jumped well apart from one or two little novicey mistakes. I thought she was good.

"She gave a blow and got tired going to the last but once she heard the other mare she took off again.

"I'm hoping there will be improvement, just keep her sound down. I don't think there'll be another run and she'll go straight to Cheltenham but we'll see. I was surprised the confidence the bookmakers had in her but hopefully they're right."

      • Tricky trying to compare maiden winners and their prospects against each other in March.
They are both arguably under priced.
Could win half the track or be unplaced, it's difficult to be sure.

Aurora Vega probably got the best form. And no penalty this year.

She was off for 3 and a half months Lobos, hardly a ‘small break’ over a quarter of the year

Didn't seem to do her any harm on her reappearance. Best performance so far in this division imo. Yes I’ve backed her but I don’t think many would disagree with that as the division looks weak as piss at the minute. Maughreen has never been a backable price antepost for most punters.

Once she sees that hill for the first time, watch her fly.
The fact that Kevloaf has 100-1 about her sticks in my throat.
I think he should let me have the bet.

They look a bit shit this season to be fair, except the top 2 look to have a lot of scope to improve.
But Vega just might really enjoy Cheltenham.

                • She has held her form to this point but 10 runs in a calendar year is asking a lot from any horse. Won't find out until March though !

She’s going Fairyhouse though I thought?

                      They're mental.
                      I'd not seen that.

Willie said she likes it there and thinks the race would really suit her…I’m paraphrasing I’m afraid but she’s won her last two there and Solerina then the grade 1 worked with JDG (though she did go to Cheltenham too)

hopefully the owners fancy a day out, back to their old hunting ground.
Willie looks light in obvious quality in this category and the brits keep winning so hopefully he can be persuaded

Hope you're wrong! I too have the 100's about her, so I was quite looking forward to run for my money!

You are right though Rooster, he mentioned ‘horses for courses’ about Vega and coming back for the Grade 1.
