In that SNH when he beat Binocular, remember AP was having his first ride back from injury and while he got stuck in with the whip, his pushing lacked any strength, was a great race, was a big Cork All Star fan, got a good word for him for the bumper in 2007,we had a great few days, mate paid for his daughters wedding off the back of him.

What are people's thoughts on Laafi?
Went off a generous price (18/1) in the Limerick maiden on Boxing Day but won it in some style. Led from the word go and had them all at it before they turned for home. Beat Karamoja (who could have been under the WPM Xmas cloud), Kainsbourg, as well as Auto Potrait who was getting weight and expected to go well. All in all, a strong looking performance and one that achieved a 134 RPR. If you exclude Salvator's May romp I don't think I've seen a more impressive debut.
In a year without a standout performer in the 2m division he seems an attractive price. 40/1 and 50/1 in a place.

Was there any update on redemption day? He was close to the head of the market at one point…. 66/1 now if you can forgive a bad run ?

Romeo Coolio, beaten second time out, and won a grade 1 over Xmas which has been won by the likes of Caldwell Potter, facile vega, mighty potter, aramon. Appreciate It won at the fez, was a weak race but problem the standout here along with Abacadabras who was close against Shiskin. Not sure if Romeo is at their level or a type to rely on. BUT, he score a 149 on that run which is noticeably and higher than what 90% of the antepost field will run to as a novice
hmmmmmmm…. are there any novice hurdlers out there running in handicaps that could improve and take this, maybe a betfair hurdle type (?). Need to take a closer look

Beat a fair field, which included William Munny & Redemption Day. Age is against him, but was a very good performance @ Leopardstown over Christmas.
Could argue he had the benefit of a run of course, but he's won well enough! Suspect it will be the DRF for him next time out.

Just watched highlights from the festival period across the maiden/novice races, I noted one horse that I liked... popped back on here to do a bit of research of what people made of him and noticed you had already replied :-)
Workahead was the one that stood out to me
thought he improved as the race developed at leop and a step up from his first run in 600 days when beaten into 3rd
half decent price... will do some more reading before pressing the button
