Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Salvator Mundi - Supreme (would have been KDB but he may stay in bumpers)
      The Enabler - Albert Bartlett
      Big Willy - Triumph

      Plus one other.

I'd agree with the Mundi and Willy shouts

What about one of the french imports that could end up in the mares novice?
        - Kom tu Voudras
        - Venusienne
        - Manon
        - Kientzheim

Manon is the only one on my list but that's not a negative to the others. She's been at Willie's for a year to acclimatize so should be hitting the track this season if fit and well.

Minella Premier might be worth following this year and possibly including in a Yankee at some point.
He won his P2P race at Ballindenisk easily, earning an RPR of 94 in the process. Subsequently sold to Jerry McGrath for £400K at the Goffs Doncaster Spring Sale and set to join Nicky Henderson for owner Oliver Harris. He fits the right profile for a NJH supreme horse. Looks decent value this far out at 33/1.
A beautiful looking horse and well regarded by the sound of it.

Impossible to say for certain really mate, but is it fair to say he was probably outstayed in the Wild Monarch?

I'm sure they'll start him off again this winter in a 2m race, but who really knows beyond that. It's likely just a case of Willie juggling his ammo about.

….great effort, Sod’s Law one of them gets a haircut ahead of the bet going on.

Are you sticking with these as your selections? Appreciate your work commitments, still no sign of MoM so I’d be happy to go with your picks for this month.

Is he really all that? Well beaten in the triumph, I know he was thrown into the deep end with no prep but I find him hard to get that excited over.

The Sir Gino form speaks for itself

They didn't get a clear run with him after that and the Triumph was only going to be an education nothing more.

I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do anyway

**Add to that, the bumper lot from last season really didn't impress me one bit, it's only the french imports that have been bought could be the fly in the ointment at this moment.

Very harsh. Nowhere near ready for the Triumph hence 10th choice jockey on him. Won his maiden in spectacular fashion even accounting for it being an egg and spoon race. Big reputation and could be anything. Not backed him yet but may have talked myself into it!!!

Maybe I’m a bit harsh on him but he was well beaten in the triumph, his maiden win he was something like 1-12 and won as he should against that field. The only other piece of form is decent with sir gino but as we often see with French juveniles the form in those races can’t always be taken at face value. I think I’d like to see him again in a better race before I’d back him for a supreme even if it means missing the price.

Agree with you that it may be better to see where he's positioned first before going in. His price would ultimately shorten up but better to have a potential runner than a no hoper. Can always double up on the amount placed to counter the drop in price. Sometimes it's better to wait instead of diving in blind folded.
