Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I'd agree, it's not as if the trainer making those comments has won that particular race recently.

In fact he's never won the race.

Even Denman got beat in it.

I'm happy enough to look at his in the UK with no Irish competition up until March, winning Graded NovH's.

But it's another level to suggest he knows he has got the Gallaghers winner, in the spring the year before.

Though he does tend to target the 2M4F Newbury Grade 1 well enough, at the turn of the Year, but there's little depth in British NovH pre-Christmas to be fair (John McConnell, Gordon Elliott and Charles Byrnes like to come from Ireland, and win Novice Hurdles here in October, November, December)

    Never say Never, though.

25-1 widely available for Sup and Gall, a debate to be had as to target.
I’d suggest leaving him until the stable tours. There’s another route potentially being considered for him at the moment.

…and I’ve just remembered, we have included him already.

…..not sure how that works if he won a valuable bumper last March.

For Champion Bumper, it's all age related, and number of Bumper runs before Cheltenham

Must be 4yo-6yo, and 3 runs max in Bumpers

…..hoping MoM returns to the fold in a weeks time but we could do with somebody on stand-by to make the selections just in case he doesn’t.

Hopefully won’t be needed but if anybody is happy to step in, then it would be appreciated?

in the meantime, keep the nominations coming, darlojim is there anything in the Triumph market worth chancing?

I think we should leave it to markets that most bookies have up, no?

                        That sounds ominous...

From a Triumph perspective, probably best to wait until more markets come up, especially since a few shortened up the other night so prices arent as generous

                              ….cheers, Matey, that’s much appreciated.

let’s work on 30th Aug, if MoM doesn’t return on that day we’ll have a somer1 wager.

I'd actually go back on what I said this morning and wouldnt be against putting 1 up for the Triumph now, the likelihood is the price will only go one way but it is the obvious caveat that only Sky, PP/BF and Uni have it priced but Willy de Houelle @ 16s and you'll be somewhere close
