Gaelic Warrior - ch. chs. - el fabiolo needs to bounce back.

I feel like the reasoning here is a general thought, but if el fabiolo needs to bounce back, doesn't Gaelic warrior also need to bounce back?

In (somewhat) massive hindsight, el fabs was never gonna win the celebration chase because he doesn't jump fast enough but he jumped well enough at Cheltenham to win an Arkle on his only other chasing visit apart from the fall. I say somewhat massive hindsight because I thought Gaelic should go to the celebration with his faster jumping. As it turns out he also probably would have been beat given Il etait temps beat him at punchestown so don't bother horses need to bounce back from defeats? Likewise jonbons form at Cheltenham tells you he doesn't like the place as much as he likes aintree or sandown so for me the QMCC looks a bit awkward now?

Probably Yes Odin , but i guess what i was thinking / meaning was El Fab flopped at the Festival and Gaelic tore it up .
So thinking Gaelic must have as good a chance in the Queen mother ..

Maybe but if Ballyburn ends up in that race then I can see DC stepping up to the NHC if it stays in its current format. The bookies have him shorter for that race too. All about Ballyburn again.

Yeah I can see this argument to be fair. I'm convinced that Gaelic and El Fab will be split come the festival (if they both make it) and in that scenario, Gaelic is categorically better suited to the Ryanair for me as he could probably put in an Allaho-esque performance. El Fab's sticky jumping will catch him out in the Ryanair with the fences at the top of the hill, I'm not as convinced it would in the QMCC. That said, if Gaelic goes QMCC he should be favourite so I can definitely see the value in getting him in a yankee given people generally don't want to target the Ryanair

Another vote for Dancing City to be in here! Think he's still a nice price for what is essentially WPM's best staying novice hurdler.
