Hi all
Saw there was a tipster thread earlier, and thought it useful to assess the podcasts, YouTube channels that I've used regularly throughout the National Hunt season, and the lead up to Cheltenham. Welcome any other podcasts / channels that you think worth following.
Upping the Ante - could listen to Johnny Dineen all day! He seems a lovely fellow and has great chemistry with David Jennings - enjoy the questions from the crowd and their general ramblings. Not there for the tips, just the craic!
Road to Cheltenham - Lydia Hislop & Ruby Walsh - the one I've watched the longest (never thought I'd see Ruby Walsh analyse data using Racing IQ!) Could listen to Ruby all day - enjoyed the debriefs they did from Leopardstown DRF the most.
Road to Cheltenham Challenge - Barry Doyle and Ronan Groome - review NH racing throughout the season and give their tips for Cheltenham - best analysis after Ruby
Paddy Power Cheltenham Countdown - Tom ? hosts Ruby Walsh and Rory Delargy throughout the season - very interesting analysis and discussion
Paddy Power Cheltenham Countdown extra - where Frank Hickey and Patrick Kennelly dissect the above show of Ruby and Rory - it's more enjoyable than the show they review! Interesting aspect from Frank Hickey on how Paddy Power prices up the races.
Racing Weekly - hosted by Richi Persad with Steve Ryder and guest - the format works well and has interesting reviews of racing throughout the season - an enjoyable watch.
Cheltenham Chat - Mark Mackay - a non bookie, punter focussed site - provides great analysis, concerned he gets too stressed trying to ensure a successful Cheltenham festival
Lets Talk Racing - two young fellows who are very engaging and passionate about racing
The Front Page - not related to Cheltenham, and seems like a really naff format of three Racing Post journalists reviewing their articles for the week and voting which is the best - on the face of it, seems really pompous, but it's fascinating to get a more detailed discussion of the issues facing the racing industry.
